Part 23

Noah's Journal January 20XX I cannot remember my mother. I spent all my life living in someone else's home. Always we were related by blood but somehow that never mattered.  I was the one who did not belong anywhere. I remember a park with a playground... the smell of  rain in autumn... the cold and damp of leaves in decay. This is my earliest memory. And although I realize I could not have gone there alone, I still cannot recall who was beside me. Occasionally I dream of a woman; she is tall and fair, with black curls, but always I see her from behind. I do not know if she is my mother or not, but I often make the assumption that she is. I recall my first home being in an elderly gentleman's manor -- perhaps the size of Saint Germain's home. It had vast libraries and parlors covered in thick layers of dust, gathered over what seemed to be centuries. The gentleman was my mother's uncle, and although he showed me great kindness in taking me in as his ward, hi

Part 20

Somewhere dark and bitter cold, Wolfgang speaks in a raised voice. A sickly firelight flickers along the black walls, but from this light there comes no warmth. "You said she would be safe here!" Wolfgang barks, "So, what is this shit?!" The figure in the chair remains silent.

Part 19

Max and Zaiden stand before Noah, Aylin and Luka in the large foyer. Their wounds have healed during the time they have been hidden in the mansion and they now stand in the hall, ready to head back to San Myushino. "Thanks for the hospitality. We've decided we should be heading back home," Zaiden says. He reaches to scratch a spot on his forehead where a scar has formed. "Are you sure the both of you are okay to leave?" asks Aylin. "It hasn't been that long since... everything happened."

Part 18

A week passes with no sight or sound of Wolfgang and Karina.

Part 17

A storm rages above the Vampyric Order's headquarters and large waves crash violently against the sandy shore nearby. Thunder rumbles low off in the distance.

Evil walks the streets of San Myushino tonight.

Part 6

Author's note: Apologies for the abrupt character design changes, as I discovered custom content and did makeovers for everyone. I tried my best to keep them as loyal to the original designs as possible, but the clothes and hair may be quite different in some cases. I know this can cause the immersion to suffer a bit for readers, and I do hope you'll forgive me! Please check out the character page here for more information. ~      After their study session, Saint Germain had escorted Aylin back home. Noah stayed behind to prepare dinner. Saint Germain didn't need to eat real food, but he insisted upon it for the simple fact that he couldn't bear to see Noah eat alone.

Part 5

Today is Aylin's first real lesson about vampires. The mansion's library is full of the sound of flipping pages.

Part 4

Noah returns to his room after saying goodbye to Aylin.  The days events are plaguing his mind.

Part 3

Days had gone by since Noah had seen Aylin. He felt listless.

Part 2

After the drama unfolds with Karina and Wolfgang, Zaiden and Max are finally alone together. Wolfgang has gone somewhere, and neither of the boys care to know where. In fact, every second that is not spent in his presence feels like a blessing. Not only has Max undergone consistent traumatic feeding sessions, now even Zaiden--who tried to remain out of the picture entirely--has suffered a personal loss thanks to Wolfgang's increasing psychological and physical instability. The anxiety in the apartment is mounting and the two young men take the opportunity to talk about their problems candidly. Unfortunately, Max has little to no compassion for other people's pain. "At least you aren't being fed on every night because your plasma apparently tastes better than everyone else's!" he says, pointing to the scars on his neck. Zaiden doesn't take kindly to his insensitivity.

Part 1

Wolfgang has recently become a vampire. He is having trouble adapting to his new way of life.
