[Update: 2/7/20]
Hello my dear readers,
I wanted to let you know that I am still very much alive and still very much dedicated to my characters, however you will have noticed a significant hiatus for a few months now that has put a pause on my writing. I went through a traumatic break-up last March and had to move quite far away from where I had been living. I also, rather quickly, started working a full time job whilst also enduring some pretty distracting bouts of depression which made it impossible for me to do anything hobby related for quite a while. But I am happy to tell you that I have decided to go back to college, and for the time being, I am unemployed and have returned to playing The Sims 4. I have not worked on my SimLit as of yet, but I feel the itch getting stronger day by day, so I am optimistic that I will return to it shortly--as soon as I muster up the courage.
Thank you for your patience, and I apologize for my absence, as I know so many of you love these characters like I do and I know you wish to see their stories continue on.

Hi everyone!
This story originally started here on the Sims 4 forums under the name Laura_Jones. I decided to duplicate it on this platform so that I could easily share it with others, as well as have full creative freedom without censorship or risk of being punished for something that EA might consider inappropriate for their website.
Initially, I made the characters first without their ultimate goal in mind, just thinking it would be fun to play a Vampire themed household. I built a mansion and designed the main character, Saint Germain. I also designed an adorable young boy named Noah Grace, who I instantly loved. I wanted to put them together in a type of Guardian/Ward situation, where Noah could write poetry in the comfort of Saint Germain’s mansion and they could generally just have a good time.
Little did I know that this story would grow a life of its own!
Because of the fact that I didn’t originally plan to make a sim-lit out of my game play, you will notice there is a gap in the beginning where I haven’t quite fleshed out the story. By my third or fourth update, I was introducing an antagonist without any real direction for how he would get involved in Saint Germain and Noah’s lives. Now, I have quite a few chapters fleshed out on paper and a couple published already with pictures and writing. The writing gets more and more detailed every time I sit down to work, and the pictures get better with the introduction of poses and some other custom content that I’ve found. Initially, the story was pretty light hearted and funny at times, which you can tell from the screenshots. As you read, you will notice the characters start looking different because I’ve found ways to make them look more realistic and less EA default texture-y. Sometimes the rooms in the mansion will look different because I keep finding so many new and beautiful wallpapers or parquet flooring. I am just going to accept these imperfections in the overall continuity of the journey, and eventually someday, maybe I will remake the first few chapters to be more like the rest of them. But for now, please enjoy what I have, thus far.
The lives of these characters are part of me now; their joy and despair, their pain and their love are all completely real, and I am merely the scribe.
I hope you can come to enjoy their company as much as I do.
